My new Etsy store, Peace, Baby! Batiks, will have a table at the Humane Society of Charles County‘s annual Craft Fair on Sunday, Dec. 6, at Thomas Stone High School in Waldorf! Come out and see me and check out my new designs — including some adorable holiday onesies and T-shirts! The sale runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Stop by and say hi!

I’ve been working for a few months to open a store at Etsy.com (the best place online to buy and sell handmade stuff), and it’s finally a reality! Visit my shop, Peace, Baby! Batiks, to see what I’ve been working on. I sell hand-dyed clothing for children size newborn to 4T. (I hope to expand to larger childrens’ sizes, adult sizes and more eventually!) Many of the items I dye are recycled, and each one is totally unique! Please come by and take a look!

Dance Lessons Start March 1 in Waldorf!

We’ll be starting a new six-week session of classes March 1 at the Sport and Health Club on Post Office Road in Waldorf. The class will run for six consecutive Sundays from 2-3 p.m. You’ll learn beginner-level steps in Jitterbug, Waltz and Cha Cha! More details:

Six-week session starts March 1: Learn Jitterbug, Waltz and Cha Cha.
(Class dates: March 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 and April 5)

Time: 2-3 p.m. Sundays
Location: Sport and Health Club, 90 Post Office Road, Waldorf
